The Boeing Explorer Rocket Group (BSA Explorer Post 526) assisted Boeing Canoga Park master float builder Greg Olson with the construction of the Boeing Canoga Park winning entry, and marched in the parade with the float on Saturday, September 23. Boeing Canoga Park took home First Place in the Commercial Float category as well as the Theme Trophy ("Simi Celebrates 2000"). On the float was Rocketdyne's newest rocket engine, the RS-68. The float also featured a number of Boeing space programs, including the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station.
