For their community spirit and dedication in mentoring the Explorers from Canoga Park High School, the Boeing Explorer Rocket Group (BERG) mentors were presented with a Boeing Canoga Park Engineering Team Achievement Award. The award was presented by Debra Bergman, manager of Community Outreach Programs at a dinner in honor of the award recipients. The dinner was held at BJ's Restaurant, Woodland Hills, on December 22, 1999.
